Delhi festival scene marks the beginning of winters and a series of in-house parties. With the parties, I always try to look out for some easy to cook and easy to serve recipes. This recipe was actually conceived by my daughter after I almost banned their KFC crispy chicken. Si one day asked me, can my chicken at home be made like how Kentucky Chicken was? Though I knew its gonna be another fried recipe, I allowed Si to experiment, and she asked me to coat her chicken in her favourite Cheese Nachos. On the way to create the KFC, we eventually basted the chicken with some leftover sandwich spread, which consisted of butter, mayo and mustard. Rolled the wafers, and I proposed to bake it.
This was such a super hit, that I fine-tuned a few flavours and we have this as our super liked party snacks. One can play with flavours and choose to use Indian flavours and Cornflakes to coat the chicken instead of our American Version.
Do try it in this Party and You will always have it on the menu.
